I have known Luke for nearly five years now, working with him at length and in great detail on efforts to revitalize Midtown Fort Collins. More recently, I’ve had the great pleasure of working with him on other business development ventures in my role as President of the RiNo Art District in Denver.

In my time working with him on a number of initiatives, I’ve seen Luke demonstrate leadership, forward-thinking, and creative problem-solving. He is able to advance and explain complicated community challenges, bring together diverse perspectives, and champion solutions. He works tirelessly to get projects to the finish line, and does so in a way that is collaborative and thoughtful. He doesn’t take no for an answer and always finds interesting ways to achieve meaningful goals.

Recently, I was involved with Luke on his efforts to establish Fort Collins’ first Business Improvement District (BID) in Midtown. From idea to implementation, he has led the community forward every step of the way. As we near the finish line of that process—and a groundbreaking effort for the City of Fort Collins—it is important to note that the end result will have Luke’s fingerprints all over it.

In addition, Luke has become a trusted friend and advisor on community development and private development matters. I look to him as a knowledgeable resource on many fronts.
