We opened Waneka Marketplace with a robust tenant mix with tenants paying very strong rental rates, but as Albertsons closed we began to see tenants move out and the rents and occupancy decline at a rapid pace.

With your energy and effort, we were able to stabilize the current tenants and leverage your work ethic and expertise to execute a strategy to reposition our shopping center. Your hands-on approach with our tenants helped provide us with better insight into how to work with our tenants and stabilize our asset. Your work helped us consistently renew our tenants while bringing in several new tenants and enhancing our cash flow. Additionally, your operational expertise helped keep our CAM costs low, keeping our property competitive in the market.

Without your work, we would not have been able to position the asset for sale in 2014 at the price we were able to achieve—only after the revitalization you helped us bring about during difficult economic times. As you recall, our family had owned the land for many years and developing the project was a family affair.
